Once in a while we like to visit Ipoh, Perak. This place is KNOWN for good food! And you KNOW it's good if there's a long queue. I mean, where else will you find a "drive-through" tau foo fah (a local desert made from soy beans) and soy drink shop?
I wish I had my zoom lense with me, but this was the best I could do before he little fella flew away.
Another thing I like about this city is it still has many of the old, colonial buildings. Instead of pulling them down and building big glass and concrete monstrosities, they preserve the old buildings, giving the city centre real character. I will take more photos of this place the next time we visit and post them up here.
